Tuesdays 7-9 p.m. Tlingit Language Class
Early January Museum Galleries CLOSED for Cleaning. Gallery viewing may be available by appointment. The museum office and archives are OPEN for requests and research. Please call or ring the bell at the front door.
Mid-January Children's Interactive Learning Center: hands-on exhibits and activities related to the history of Haines and the surrounding area, for children ages 3-12
3rd Sunday of the Month Third Sunday Recital Series - featuring performances by local musicians, poets and writers, etc.
Jan 15th - Feb 15th Civil Rights Exhibit: Exhibit and Education activites for children on Civil Rights leaders Martin Luther King and Alaska's own Elizabeth Peratrovich
  Doll Fair Open House - activities, games and a tea party for children ages 3-12. An annual event since 1979.
  History Day Exhibit & Open House - part of National History Day Competition (exhibits by 6th grade students)
 

Big Read Program (2008) part of a special grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to promote the enjoyment of reading.

 Thursday of Eagle Festival "Eagle Elegance" Sheldon Museum's Annual Fundraiser featuring an art auction & gourmet food
